Self-Esteem
Self-esteem refers to one's sense of self-worth or the value that they place on themselves. Many children, adolescents, and adults struggle to feel valuable. This can undermine relationships, fuel social anxiety, and lead to depression. At Birch Tree Psychology, we work with individuals to teach them the skills they need to change the way they think about themselves. This includes assertiveness training, improving self-image, identifying character strengths, and increasing optimism. We can help you or your child develop a new sense of self-worth that can last a lifetime.
